Assault Marines, in the making, and some more that are in the middle of being ‘coloured in’. :)

Also, my bits pile for the marines that are yet to be built, it’s not a bad pile in my opinion.

I’m in the middle of painting 5 and building 10.

Got a new light for my lamp, it’s a much better white light, I think I will upload some new pictures of some of the models I am most pleased with.

Blood Angels Captain, WIP. Will have a Jump pack after I paint him.

Order arrived today, I am stoked! The models are: Stormraven, Vindicator, Assault Terminators, Furioso Dreadnought, Assault Marines x2, Drop Pod and a Death Company squad. So keen to play with this in a 2k points army.

Decided I may increase the size of my Death Company to 9, and use the spare left legs to create another HQ unit, that should cost a little less than Astorath, so that I can have a cheaper HQ if I want. I was thinking maybe a Captain with Storm Shield and Thunderhammer, with Jump pack, while that is still an expensive Captain, it is not quite as many points as Astorath costs.

I also thought a Vindicator would do very nicely against some of the more heavily armoured units I may come up against, so I decided on that over a second Baal Predator (but I am still very much entertained by the idea of a second Baal Predator, maybe if I can pick one up cheaply later on I will).

Lastly I ordered the Drop Pod as I thought it would be good to drop either one of my Dreadnoughts up nice and close to the enemy. I think I will most likely use it to deep strike my Furioso Dreadnought with his Frag Cannon, hopefully right next to a unit that won’t enjoy Strength 6 template attacks.
